Cohen & Steers Institutional Realty Shares is a non-diversified fund that invests at least 80% of its total assets, and normally substantially all assets, in common stocks and other equity securities issued by real estate companies. The fund may allocate up to 20% of its total assets to foreign issuers, including emerging market companies, that meet the same investment criteria as domestic real estate firms. Foreign investments may be made through American Depositary Receipts, Global Depositary Receipts, or European Depositary Receipts.
