Energem Resources Inc., through its subsidiaries, engages in the mid and up-stream oil and related sectors in Africa. It operates in four divisions: Up-Stream Oil, Logistics and Industrial, Biofuels, and Mid-Stream Oil. The Up-Stream Oil division engages in the exploration and development of an oil and gas field in Chad. The Logistics and Industrial division engages in the manufacture, procurement, supply, and logistics management of and for products primarily to the mining industry in sub-Saharan Africa. It also owns and manages a bitumen emulsions manufacturing factory in Harare, Zimbabwe. The Biofuels division produces potable alcohol and industrial ethanol for use in beverage, medical, and industrial applications, as well as develops a bio-diesel project in Mozambique. The Mid-Stream division sells refined fuel products. Energem Resources Inc. was formerly known as DiamondWorks Ltd and changed its name to Energem Resources Inc. in June 2004.
