The company was formerly known as ADDvantage Media Group, Inc. and changed its name to ADDvantage Technologies Group, Inc. in December 1999. ADDvantage Technologies Group, Inc. was incorporated in 1989 and is headquartered in Carrollton, Texas. On January 31, 2024, ADDvantage Technologies Group, Inc. along with its affiliates, filed a voluntary petition for liquidation under Chapter 7 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
