Fidelity Select Gold Pt is a non-diversified mutual fund that invests at least 80% of its assets in securities of companies engaged in gold-related activities, as well as in gold bullion and coins. The fund allocates up to 25% of its assets to gold and other precious metals through a wholly-owned subsidiary. Its portfolio consists primarily of common stocks in companies involved in exploration, mining, processing, or dealing in gold, with secondary exposure to silver, platinum, diamonds, and other precious metals and minerals.
