DCP Midstream, LP is a midstream energy company that owns and operates a diversified portfolio of assets across the United States, including approximately 36 natural gas processing plants. The company operates through two primary segments: Logistics and Marketing, which handles transportation, trading, storage, and fractionation of natural gas and natural gas liquids (NGLs), and Gathering and Processing, which focuses on gathering, compressing, treating, and processing natural gas while producing and recovering NGLs and condensate. DCP Midstream serves petrochemical and refining companies as well as retail propane distributors. Incorporated in 2005 and headquartered in Denver, Colorado, the company changed its name from DCP Midstream Partners, LP in January 2017.
