Energy Transfer LP is a Dallas-based energy infrastructure company founded in 1996 that owns and operates one of North America's largest networks of natural gas and crude oil pipelines, with approximately 11,600 miles of natural gas transportation pipelines and 5,215 miles of natural gas liquid pipelines. The company provides comprehensive energy logistics services including natural gas gathering, processing, storage, and transportation; crude oil transportation and marketing; and natural gas liquid fractionation and storage across major producing regions including Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, and other key energy states. Energy Transfer also supplies natural gas to electric utilities, power plants, and industrial customers, while generating revenue from petroleum product distribution, natural gas compression services, and ancillary operations such as power generation and coal property management.
