Eagle Materials Inc. is a leading producer of heavy construction materials and light building materials in the United States, operating through four primary segments: Cement, Concrete and Aggregates, Gypsum Wallboard, and Recycled Paperboard. The company mines limestone for Portland cement production, manufactures gypsum wallboards for interior construction, produces ready-mix concrete, and extracts aggregates including crushed stone, sand, and gravel. Eagle Materials also manufactures recycled paperboard for the gypsum wallboard industry and other converters. Its materials serve residential and commercial construction, public infrastructure projects, and road and highway development. Founded in 1963 and headquartered in Dallas, Texas, the company was formerly known as Centex Construction Products before changing its name in 2004.
