The company mines limestone for Portland cement production, manufactures gypsum wallboards for interior construction, produces ready-mix concrete, and extracts aggregates including crushed stone, sand, and gravel. Eagle Materials also manufactures recycled paperboard for the gypsum wallboard industry and other converters. Founded in 1963 and headquartered in Dallas, Texas, the company was formerly known as Centex Construction Products before changing its name in 2004.
