DCP Midstream, LP is a midstream energy infrastructure company headquartered in Denver, Colorado that owns, operates, and develops a diversified portfolio of natural gas and natural gas liquids assets across the United States. The company operates through two primary segments: Logistics and Marketing, which handles the transportation, trading, marketing, and storage of natural gas and NGLs as well as NGL fractionation; and Gathering and Processing, which focuses on gathering, compressing, treating, and processing natural gas while also producing and fractionating NGLs and recovering condensate. DCP operates approximately 35 natural gas processing plants and serves major customers including petrochemical companies, refineries, and retail propane distributors. The company was established in 2005 and changed its name from DCP Midstream Partners, LP to DCP Midstream, LP in January 2017.
