iShares MSCI Brazil ETF (EWZ) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the performance of the Brazilian equity market by investing at least 80% of its assets in large- and mid-capitalization Brazilian stocks and securities with substantially identical economic characteristics. The fund uses the MSCI Brazil Index as its benchmark, which is a free float-adjusted, market capitalization-weighted index designed to measure the large- and mid-cap segments of Brazil's stock market. As a non-diversified fund, EWZ offers investors concentrated exposure to Brazil's largest and most liquid publicly traded companies across various sectors.
