Kirby Corporation is a leading provider of marine transportation and diversified services operating throughout the United States. Through its Marine Transportation segment, the company operates an extensive fleet of tank barges and tugboats serving inland waterways including the Mississippi River System and Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, as well as coastal and offshore routes, transporting bulk liquid products such as petrochemicals, refined petroleum, and agricultural chemicals. The Distribution and Services segment supplies aftermarket parts, equipment rebuilding, rental services, and manufactures specialized equipment for oilfield, marine, power generation, and industrial applications. As of December 2021, Kirby operated over 1,300 vessels and barges across its fleet, serving commercial enterprises and the United States government since its founding in 1921.
