NiSource Inc. is a regulated energy holding company headquartered in Merrillville, Indiana, operating as a natural gas and electric utility across the United States. The company's Gas Distribution Operations serve approximately 2.4 million residential, commercial, and industrial customers across Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Kentucky, Maryland, and northern Indiana through roughly 54,600 miles of distribution pipelines and 1,000 miles of transmission pipelines.
